Midvaal Municipality Roads and Stormwater Foreman Qualifications:-

  • Grade 12. – National Diploma in Civil Engineering. – Code C1 driver’s license, PDP will be an added advantage. – Grader and/or TLB operator license will be an added advantage. – Computer literacy (MS Word, excel and PowerPoint). – Meet MFMA minimum competency requirements or qualify for dispensation. – Professional Registration with ECSA will be an added advantage. – Project Management and Financial Management skills and experience. – Proven knowledge of roads and storm water construction and equipment. – Specialized knowledge of earth works, roads and storm water, road marking & signage and knowledge of earth moving equipment. – Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Skills & competencies associated with vocation: project management, conflict & stress management, empowerment, adaptability, leadership skills, negotiation skills, analytical thinking, presentation skills. – Must be able to perform standby and or overtime duties. – (Three) 3 – (Five) 5 years’ experience responsible for Roads & Stormwater, experience within Local government authority will be an added advantage
