Midvaal Municipality Employee Relations Director Qualifications:-
- Relevant B- degree or equivalent in HRM with specialisation in Labour Law. – LLB/B.Juris/B Proc with proven experience and specialisation in Labour Law will be an added advantage. – Valid Driver’s License with own vehicle. – Meet MFMA Minimum competency requirements or qualify for dispensation. – Knowledge of the Employment Relations legislative and regulatory framework including Labour Relations Act, BCEA, Employment Equity Act & COIDA. – Experience in appearing in conciliations, mediations, and arbitration proceedings. – Knowledge and understanding of the functioning of the SALGBC and CCMA. – Ability to use dispute resolution interventions to resolve disputes. – Computer literate (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint). – Proven Management Skills (analytical thinking, empowerment, adaptability, communication, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, conceptual skills, presentation skills, conflict and stress management, negotiation skills. – Project management and financial management skills. – Specific attention to detail and research skills, Competent in interpretation, implementation and enforcement of relevant legislation and applicable regulations/policies. – Five (05) years’ experience in Human Resources specialising in Labour Relations of which a minimum of three (3) years must be at supervisory level
