Gauteng Department Of Community Safety Director ICT Infrastructure Qualifications:-
- Requirements: Matric Certificate plus a 3-year National Diploma (NQF level 6)/Degree (NQF level 7) ln ICT (Computer Science or Informatics). Any relevant ICT Infrastructure certificates is an advantage. 3 – 5 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. All valid relevant driving licenses (A and EC). No criminal record or case pending against you. Knowledge and Skills: Operating systems and server administration. Working knowledge of Microsoft server environment and Windows operating systems. (AD and MS Exchange Server). Microsoft Office packages. Management of Software licenses. DBMS Technology. Virtualization Solutions. SAN administration. Cloud hosted services. Networking environment – LAN/WAN, networking/Troubleshooting and experience in Cisco routers/switch configuration Telecommunication Systems – Knowledge of PABX and telecom systems, (TMS, VolP). Knowledge of ICT Security technologies. ICT Regulations and standards (CoblT, ITIL, ISO etc. Business Analysis. Innovative development technologies. DBMS technologies. Project management skills. Information and data Security. Risk assessment and mitigation. Disaster recovery technologies. Network and telecommunications. Security. Technical credibility and Cyber security management.
